Meet Our Bakers
Our two bakers, Lindsey and Louise are two talented cake lovers that have put their passion into creating First Step Bakers. With a background in catering, Lindsey has honed her skills over the years with the harshest of critics - her children, helping her perfect her undeniable talent. Her favourite cake is the naked wedding cake she baked out of love for her wedding day!
Louise has had a sweet tooth for as long as she can remember and developed her passion for baking when she was a child baking with her Nan, starting with a typical Victoria Sponge which to this day remains her go-to comfort cake! Yes, that's a thing - a 'comfort cake' - the bakers say so!
Cake
From elegant 'naked' wedding cakes to themed birthday cakes, smash cakes to gender reveal cakes - with a variety of fillings and toppings. Here at First Step Bakers we don't believe cake should be resigned to just special occasions, so we also have a range of 'daily cakes' - for those days you just need that cake in your life!
Cupcakes
Everybody loves cupcakes! Whether it's a gender reveal, coloured centre/sponge, a birthday cupcake stack, celebration party or just because of a cupcake craving - we have cupcakes for every day and bake to your requirements. With a whole host of flavours and toppings to choose from the possibilities are endless.
Sweet Treats
A selection of donuts, brownies and cheesecakes for the everyday sweet treat. From filled to topped, decorated donuts, to a vast range of flavoured brownies and blondies our Sweet Treats section is ideal for those days you just need a nibble at something sweet. We also have a new range of biscuit based cheesecakes with toppings including Biscoff, Oreo, Flake and more!
